The trial of Cleveland Cavaliers guard Delonte West on weapons charges has been postponed until April 26. Authorities say West was carrying two loaded handguns, a loaded shotgun and an 8 1/2 -inch Bowie knife while riding a three-wheel motorcycle on the Capital Beltway in Maryland in September. Police say he was pulled over after cutting off an officer.

Cavs sign guard Jackson to 10-day deal (AP)

The Cleveland Cavaliers signed point guard Cedric Jackson to a 10-day contract. The move Saturday was prompted by injuries to Mo Williams and Delonte West in the past few days. The team lost Williams to a sprained shoulder and West to a broken finger. Williams is out for at least one month, and the club doesn't know how long it will be without West.

The NBA denied the Atlanta Hawks' protest over a shot-clock error in last month's loss against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Commissioner David Stern ruled on Tuesday the mistake didn't have a "clear impact."
